HRS (High Cycle Regenerative Combustion System) burners have achieved outstanding energy savings by means of ultra high pre-heated air combustion and high efficiency waste heat recovery systems. These were realized by use of NFK's patented ceramic honeycomb regenerating media and CEM (Cross Exchange Mechanism), a four-way Switching Device. The HRS-ULN(ultra low NOx) burners based on the latest fuel staging combustion theory have also set a new standard in reducing NOx emissions.
A simple compact direct firing regenerative burner incorporating NFK's latest high temperature combustion technology. With a built-in ceramic honeycomb regenerator this unit achieves ultra-high efficient heat recovery, drastic reduction of NOx emissions and uniform temperature distribution.

With this unit, it is possible to continuously generate high temperature air or steam (1,300K-1,500K) with maximum pressure of 10kPa by application of ultra waste heat recovery system utilizing the ceramic honeycomb. This steam enthalpy intensifier is used in the biomass gasification process developed by KTH (Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden) and other gasification processes.

CEM is for The operation of two sets (one pair) of regenerative burners. The four way valve makes possible both air feeding and flue gas exhaust with a single exchange valve. The advantages of CEM in comparison with conventional valve systems (four sets of valves required) are as follows:
Four Way Valve (CEM)
Developed in collaboration with TOHO Gas Co.,Ltd., this hot air generator can generate hot air or steam at 400℃ or 700℃ by means of a highly efficient regenerative burner for heating and straight through type finned tubes for the heat exchanger. Operation cost is about 1/3 that of conventional electric heating systems.
Applications | Metal Mold Heating Furnaces, Tempering Furnaces, Paint Baking Driers, Rubber Vulcanizing Furnaces, Solvent Driers. |
